Glossed Origami Pieces

I've been quite busy today doing preparation of Japanese lessons for the next few weeks but did manage to find time for working on our Origami jewellery business. Today what I did for the business is to put 2 layers of gloss on the origami pieces as well as doing some marketing. As I said on the last entry, our origami centrepieces need 3 layers of gloss and a couple layers of a final varnish for flexibility and durability so they still need one more layer before the final varnish.
This very artistic looking stand is made by my mother-in-law. She made it with some stuff from her kitchen :)

How clever design at this stand!
I love your origami jewelleries. Putting vanish three times is lots of work :)

haha, my husband's mum is also like making stuff. It's good, isn't it? I put 4 layers of gloss on some thin Origami paper so in this case I put 6 layers of gloss and varnish in total!!!
